Moment of Truth A great summarized version of 50 books with a great bio of the author at the end — all made to fit together into one succes book. The only downside of this book for someone who hasn’t gone through the materials yet would be that it has too much value in it that it’s practically impossible to act on all of this good information.
Very useful for the busy executive who wants to get gist of classic in 10 minutes or so. Since I’ve already read a lot of the books in the full format this was a great reminder butler-obwdon me. Other books in the series. I haven’t found Tom’s summaries to be useful as a replacement for reading the books he references, but it is a good way to find other books that you may be interested in.

Overall Ratings 7 out of There was so much info that i’m going to have to go back and take notes when i have 10 hours to go back This is a great way to get “cliff notes” of 50 great books You can test drive 50 books in one, what’s not to like. This is a great title and gives you an excellent starting point for your next book.
This book contains brief summaries of the contents of 50 other books, 45 of which I was never going to read.
Probably the best self improvement book I’ve ever read and it pointed me to numerous other excellent works.
Butler-boowdon was a great refresher for the books I’ve already read and a great introduction to books I wouldn’t have thought to read otherwise. Mar 07, Cloay added it Shelves: Other books in this series. I like recurring messages of optimism, and this book has that. These books have increased my reading list, but with a clarity and focus to read the books that most interest me.
The other great thing about it is that you can break the books up into small sections of about minutes, perfect for calssics walk home or short trip on the tube.

In fact I read this book in other language, but it is an amazing book. At first I thought I would just listen to this audiobook as a shortcut to understanding, sort of like reading Cliffnotes. clqssics
Paperbackpages. The Narrator Ruins It The title sounded promising, and the idea of getting the essence of 50 classics from one listen was equally appealing. After 1 hour of trying hard to listen pass the Narrator’s boring voice I had to switch it off. Singularity of purpose can produce a relaxed knowing Russel H Conwell, Acres of Diamond -You need to develop an open-mind to spot the obvious.
