I thought the end was brilliant-the last page especially, chilled me to the bone. It is evident that the author has wanted all of her settings to be as evocative as possible and for me, it read in a completely believable manner throughout.
Her titles have been printed in both hardcover and paperback and translated into twenty languages. Ivy Dunlap is a character I loved from the git go! Anns killer books are almost always “interesting” but this one particularly so since our crazy bad guy murders unmarried mothers with newborn boys.
Ivy has had one thing on her mind for 16 years: This book has been around for a while and I have seen it numerous times on racks at second hand bookstores and never picked it up – until it became available through Net Galley. Now the Madonna Murderer has become active again and Ivy Dunlap is asked to join the task force and aid in his capture.
Claudia Reynolds survived the Madonna Killer though he killed her newborn son and has been relocated with a new identity in St. A few months later she found out she was pregnant and did her best to take care of herself and the fetus. Anne Frasier does an amazing job creating her characters, as Ivy and Max each had their own personal struggles that greatly affected how they reacted to situations.

Ivy decides that she must go and put a stop to this killer. I can’t believe I held on. The story progressed at a good pace. This review first appeared on my blog: I got the book for free via amazon. A few times I had to think if I’d read this book another time before because certain parts of it I was experiencing deja vu.
Overall, I would recommend this book to those who like a good serial killer-thriller For the very last time Languages Deutsch Edit links. I like a good crime thriller, and this was a good one. But I am husn I stuck with it. The Madonna Murderer failed to claim Ivy 16 years ago but it looks like he is back in business. Kill the man responsible for killing her newborn and changed the entire scope of her life forever. Thanks for telling us about the problem.

The twists and turns and view into the mind of the killer are intriguing and the characters wonderfully imagined. Meanwhile, Max is also dealing with his teenage son, Ethan, who has changed in recent months and become distant from his father. No trivia or quizzes yet.

Chief Homicide Detective Max Irving is less than thrilled hus Ivy comes to town to aid in the investigation. If you enjoy serial killer books frasief will love this one. If you love your thrillers dark and absorbing, HUSH has got to be your next read.

Ruby was a very quirky character, and he is present throughout the entirety of the story. I am NOT a fan of babies and children being hurt in stories but the author did a really good job of not making this story a gruesome tale where the babies were involved.
This book had a very interesting plot line, and very enjoyabl Hush begins when Ivy is called to be a profiler on a case she knows very well.
