Am definitely reading the third book: Other books in this series. This sequel was a bit lackluster for me. A pretty solid sequel. Oct 29, Lea Nolan rated it it was amazing. While Aelyx and Cara aren’t physically together for most of the book, I really liked the development of their relationship. Aelyx is also having a rough time on Earth trying to fix the alliance and handle all the death threats. Mostly, Cara misses Aelyx.

I really appreciated Landers potentially ‘dangerous’ decision of keeping Cara meliss Aelyx ‘separated’ for most of the novel, but this allowed her to deal with prejudices from mflissa apparently different points of view.
